I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ostatu in Zegama, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. Despite the language barrier, the staff's genuine efforts to communicate and assist me were commendable. The spacious room with its clean amenities provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the Aizkorri-Aratz natural park. I was especially touched by the exceptional service of the lady at the bar, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a warm meal even during a busy evening. The central location, overlooking the charming square and church, added a unique charm to my stay, giving me a true taste of local life in the Basque country. All in all, Ostatu stands out as a hidden gem for travelers seeking a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences in the heart of nature.
